The oval has been for a long time considered as perfect and the most attractive shape of the face.
Face oval modelling uses both surgical and techniques and less invasive procedures. Facelift is one of the surgical methods.
This is a typical "rejuvenating” surgery. The effect is achieved by pulling the skins and lifting the tissues of checks and forehead, which fall over the years and due to gravity. This procedure improves the overall appearance and reduces the signs of aging. Typical skin incisions are made in the hairy skin of the temple, in front of the ear and hairy skin on the back of the head. The procedure is most often performed under general anaesthesia. Less invasive procedures involve the most frequently filling with hyaluronic acid. This is a compound which forms the surface of the skin by binding water molecules in the skin, which stabilizes the structure by filling the volume between the cells of the tissue, leading to increased firmness and restored youthful appearance of the skin.
Hyaluronic acid perfectly fills nasolabial folds, wrinkles around the lips, wrinkles of the cheeks and corrects drooping corners of the mouth. Thus, skin regains its elasticity, wrinkles disappear and the face retains its natural look. The procedure consists in injecting of tiny portions of gel into the skin with use of very thin needle which minimises pain. Before the procedure, infiltration anaesthesia is performed. The procedure lasts for 30 minutes. Directly after the procedure, swelling, redness, itching and discolouration may occur. Symptoms disappear after 2 - 4 days. Effect of the procedure is visible for approx. one year.
