Dr Rafał Chmielewski
Specialist in otorhinolaryngology, head and neck surgery. He deals with surgical treatment of nasal septum, shells and sinuses, palatine tonsils and pharyngeal tonsils, as well as snoring. He performs operations by means of classical methods, as well as with the use of electrosurgery, radiowave surgery, laser surgery and cryosurgery within the full scope of otorhinolaryngology.
He offers conservative treatment and performs operations with local anesthesia.
I followed my residential programmes and specialization courses at the Otolaryngology Clinic of the Medical University in Warsaw, at the Central Clinical Hospital, ul. Banacha 1a.
I extended my surgical experience (several hundred laryngological surgeries performed on my own) during a period of 3 years at the Laryngology Ward of the Provincial Hospital in Siedlce.
In 2002-2011, I also worked in the position of a Lecturer at the Institute of Correct and Clinical Anatomy at the Biostructure Centre at the Medical University in Warsaw, where I delivered lectures and held practical classes in correct human anatomy for Polish and English students of medical faculties. During my foreign residential programme in 2004-2006, I taught human anatomy at the American Medical Caribbean University on St. Martin?s Island.
The experience gained thanks to many years of thorough anatomical preparation allows me to operate in a certain and safe manner. This gives a peace of mind to my Patients and myself.
